XF 2.0 Posting

If I understand posting on profile correctly this allows someone to:

a. post a message on someone's individual profile.
or
b. only a user to post a message on his/her own profile page.

I have set the profile to no about everywhere I can find it as I don't want this utility. But can someone direct me to how I can remove the link called "postings" on an individual profile. I expect I can add css display none or comment out in a template but I'm sure where this would be found.

If I'm misunderstand the purpose of this, I'd appreciate it if I could get an explanation.

Hello again, in order to remove the links on the profiles that I have set to not work I comment them out on
member_view template. Starting at line 114. This removes the links and doesn't seem to create any other problems.
