No that is not the fastest FIOS offers, thay have a 500/100 Mbps connection which downloads a 5GB file in less than a minute and a half.Jesus, that's good! Do you have the best package available or what?![]()

Nope, middle of the range package. And for good measure, going further than down town:

Have two of these lines at each business I have. Split among employees. Very good service for business class. I have no idea what their residential service is like though. Cheaper than Charter Business class. Would have gotten that but they weren't offering the speeds available now. When Comcast takes over in California, I won't go with them. Their business class offerings are subpar compared to fiber. No that is not the fastest FIOS offers, thay have a 500/100 Mbps connection which downloads a 5GB file in less than a minute and a half.
Say goodbye to your grandfathered in plan soon. You'll have 60 mbps down when the digital rollout is complete.
I may just have to get a job @ or hide in your office until work hours close so I can get my dose of speed during those off peak hours.Have two of these lines at each business I have. What's this digital roll-out you're talking about, and is it a good thing?
In theory it will speed up your connection 7.something times so unless you like waiting I would venture at yes this is a good thing...a roll out means that they are upgrading everyone for free there I would have to assume unless of course they are completely eliminating the plan you are on and requiring you to upgrade.
Won't happen. The connections are split. last I checked, each employee gets something like 6-7/1.5-2.2. Though I'd rather pay $700 for each and just get 1 Gb/1 Gb.I may just have to get a job @ or hide in your office until work hours close so I can get my dose of speed during those off peak hours.
It showed up in my March billing cycle. Contact the number on your bill and ask them about it. Depending on when your contract ends, they'll send you a new modem which you'll provision yourself by doing the self-install and it'll be a DOCSIS 3.0 modem, to take advantage of the new speeds. Speeds will be about 30 on the new plan until your area rolls over to 60/5.
Also if your modem is doing that, either the modem has gone bad (It happens) or the line from the pole to your home needs replacing. You should have "wire maintenance" on your bill if you subscribe to their TV service too. It costs about $5.00 a month and saves you from headaches down the road. Like a $1,200 cable-rewire if you move house.
