Post-dating a thread or reply

Sometimes a user may send their question via e-mail instead of starting a thread.

As an administrator, I'd like, in such a case, to start a new thread for the user, so that then can easily follow it via the forum.

As I do so - do I have the ability to change the date and time of the thread (or reply) to match the actual original date/time in which we received the user's question via email?

You could manually edit the database, but the preferred solution would be via an add-on.
