XF 2.3 Pop-up Window After Posting Replies

Since upgrading to Xenforo 2.3, I've noticed an obtrusive new feature that I didn't see listed anywhere, so I would love some help resolving it.

When I make a new reply, instead of taking me back to the newly updated thread, I am shown a pop-up window that displays the post I am making. But it hovers over the post composition window, making it appear that no post has been made yet. I then have to REFRESH the thread to see the newly updated thread.

My first hunch was that it was an existing add-on that's conflicting with how Xenforo 2.3 functions. But that does not appear to be the case. Any help in removing this annoying popup and refresh issue would be greatly appreciated!

Try rebuilding the master data at /install.

If that doesn't resolve it then it's likely a third party style or add-on.

Did you tested it with the default style? I think it is a JS issue with your style.

Thank you! I've been a Xenforo user for years, but have never encountered that solution. Is there somewhere that walks me through how to do that? Not seeing it in the tools or options of the admin back end...

Thanks all, I did rebuild the master data. Same issue persists. I also merged all the outdated template issues for the custom theme, and it persists. However, testing it with the default 2.3 style, no problems.

Sorry I'm not an easy case!

It being related to my custom style indicates to me I need to chase down the original theme owner and see if there's a 2.3 update to that.

I'm having this issue on my test build. I'm using a default style and rebuild the master and still having this.

Fixed:::



How: disabled all plugins, rebuilt the master via /install and now it posts as it should. I will begin enabling plugins one by one to see if there is an offender.

I had updated this template, after I undone it it was fixed. thread_view

I have the same problem. Even if I turn off all the plugins it doesn't work.
