In regards to the FBI, it is more likely that they actually do OWN the servers, and that they exist on a secure facility rented by the FBI, but run by contractors. That's usually how it works, anyway.
It's all in perspective. I'm not sure what happened at that particular facility, but every other facility I've worked at are pretty locked down. So locked down that it's often ridiculous.It is still screwy.

The security clearance process is the same whether you're military, civilian, or contractor.I hear yah but my concern is this...are private contractors held to the same legal standard and expectations as those who take the oath?
