Is it possible to implement Line App as a substitute for a Shoutbox?

That would be down to an add-on (as is the Shoutbox itself). I can't say I know anything about Line to know what would be viable, but it would likely require custom development at the least.

The problem we're having is that the community I'm involved with including myself find using Line App (chat room) much too convenient to communicate with each other vs. logging into website and socializing via the Shoutbox.

There is a PC version of Line and was wondering if there was any way the Shoutbox could be a mirror of what we chat on Line App? Or is that not possible using Line App services (legal stuff) implemented into XenForo?

It would require custom development and most likely an API for Line App.

It's something you would need to ask the Line App developers about.
