We want to use Amazon ElasticSearch just to lower our maintenance overhead, but unfortunately they only support https URLs. Xenforo, unfortunately, has http:// hardcoded into XenES/Api.php
It seems like a relatively simple change to make by simply adding a dropdown to the interface (Even a variable defined in config.php would suffice!) and it would keep me from having to edit a core file. The port is selectable by the user and I feel like the protocol should be as well.
