Planning on install, have a question

I will be downloading and installing xenphoro tomorrow and have a question.
I have a wordpress home page and would like to install xenphoro as a sub domain. I created the sub domain in the c panel on blue host. When the subdomain was created it made a file in the forum folder called cgi-bin. Should I delete this file, or is it where I need to install the software?
Im terrible with the tech stuff, so please be kind...

We can only provide support to licensed customers. If you are already licensed, log in to the Customer area and add your forum username to the "Forum users" page. If you are not yet licensed, once you are, please post in the Installation, upgrade, and import support forum or submit a ticket from your Customer area.
