XF 1.5 Placing code in a site head

And ad vendor has given me some code, and I've been told to "place this in the site's head."

This isn't the actual ad code, it's something else they need put in place.

Bottom line: how do I find the "head" place they speak of?

They'll likely be referring to the <head> tag which can be found in the PAGE_CONTAINER template.

It's more likely to be the PAGE_CONTAINER template. You'll see the <head> tag within the template when you edit it.

It doesn't really matter.

The contents of page_container_js_head are included between the head tags of the PAGE_CONTAINER template. So either works.

I just upgraded to 2.x. Any idea where on 2.x

It should still be the PAGE_CONTAINER template which is still in XF 2.0 and has the <head> tag.

Indeed, it looks like those templates have been removed from XF 2.0.
