XF 2.3 Trying To Use Code In A Post Doesn’t Work

I’m trying to use code to put a banner in a post and it’s not working. I use the appropriate box then hit preview and it just shows the code not the banner. Is there a setting I have to enable? I’m not sure why it’s not working

If by code you mean HTML then that won't work - it's not supported in posts.

Oh ok. This is an affiliate banner and it’s clickable. What kind of code is supported?

Are you on XF cloud?
Is the actual banner image hosted local?
How about a custom bbcode?

I’m not on the cloud. I’m not sure if the image is hosted locally. It’s HTML. Will changing it to bbcode work?

If it's just a clickable banner image then that can be done with the built in editor functions.



Attach the image, highlight it and select the insert link button to add the URL.

Bingo, I was thinking you were trying to make it so others could link it also.

Ok I attached the banner then added the link to it and it worked. Thanks y’all
