XF 2.2 Paste Image from Clipboard not working

Seen a couple posts on this related to permissions, but that doesn't appear to be the case here.




Pasting an image directly into the reply window has stopped working at some point on my forum. I attempted it over here with the exact same clipboard and it worked without issue. Manually uploading works just fine. What else could be causing this?

XF2.2.9, default theme.

Alright, so I actually just solved my own problem, but curious if anyone has any insights as to the why this solution worked and leaving this here in case someone else runs into the problem.

I cleared out the 'Local Storage' for my domain in Chrome, and instantly the editor went back to working. F12 -> Application -> Local storage -> Right click, Clear.
