Outdated template

I seem to have one outdated template every time I login to my admin cp, and I want to fix it up so it doesnt appear.

But what is an outdated template? I think it appeared after installing the style I'm using. How can they be updated to be "current"?

Outdated template simply means you're using a template that you've edited from a previous XF version.

What I do is make a copy of the template in question, click "Revert" then reapply your changes as needed.

XenForo now has a merging system which allows you to handle this which should help you solve it.

What exactly isn't working for you?
