Problem 1:lol.webp

Problem 2: Most links link to non existing pages
xenDirectory - Error

The requested page could not be found.

Navigation looks IMHO strange

nav.webp
I would remove the top 1-2px line

Problem 1: Yep fixing to post here about it.

Problem 2: Could you give me the link titles you clicked on so I can get those fixed?

Navigation: Am removing that after some sleep.

Thanks Ragtek, anything else you find problems with, please let me know.

Apart from the alignment problems mentioned above I think you have the foundations of a nice site there, it's clear and crisp and easy to read. My only issue really is the header, there is a huge amount of empty blue space there, this would of course be ideal to stick a banner in, on the right hand side :)

Just a few issues I've noticed at a glance. One of the images imo with relation to the breadcrumb link is far too big, and the one to the right of it is being cropped. To me, this issue easily rectifiable will improve the visual. That being said, not sure i like the breadcrumb and what you've done, it needs defined more and the nav_open icon looks odd floated over to the right.

The icons in the sidebar blocks also, for me, are just to big with relation to the link text that sits beside them, the icons really need to be smaller.

In the threadlistings I noticed you've used a button (image) to get the slider to drop. I think this is overkill when text would have been a better option. The other buttons in the thread list (More options & cancel) have some sort of border bevel that really doesn't look nice, looks odd infact. Also there's a huge gap inbetweet the bottom of the threadlist and threadlist tab, might want to fix that.

I understand that you want to make things a little different but the differences you've made imo aren't improvements that compliment the xenforo product.

The navbar text which as some kind of shadow makes the text hard to read, removing that imo or lowering the effect might be a good option.

Might also want to add a little padding to the member list. the data residing within looks crammed. http://xendirectory.net/members/

Yep, I plan to use that extra space for banners, I haven't taken the time to get banners incorporated but I will surely get it done.

This is way too big.
The logo is a seperate image itself. The blue is just a background that repeats. But I have plans to take up that blue some more.

Thanks Shelley, means a lot coming from you. I will definitely get on top of those suggestions. Btw, you mean I should just revert the buttons back to how they were and just alter the colors of the buttons?

Thanks DD, I had no idea the font color was so screwy on login, it was supposed to be the same color as the page background. I will get that fixed after my classes tonight and I will implement all suggestions tonight as well. Keep them coming, I'm enjoying them.

(1) The slideshow:
- points to http://xendirectory.net/content/xshop but should point to http://xendirectory.net/shop/
- The link to xPortal in the slideshow doesn't work either.
- you have a price for the xShop and it's not even close to being ready ?
(2) http://xendirectory.net/content/future/ (remove this until it is ready).
(3) easy up on the advertising of addons that are #5 in your plans. Ace #1 (xPortal) and then ace #2. Xenforo doesn't annouce what will be in xF 2.0 for a reason ! If you start getting people psyched up you are going to offer an articles manager and you deliver it in 15 months ... people will get grumpy.
(4) http://xendirectory.net/recent-activity/ - things seem a bit too spread out ... especially vs. the other Members tabs

Yeah I didn't even think to make sure those links worked as this was built on a localhost machine. I will get those fixed tonight same with the future page. You are right, I will ease up on that stuff, I'll remove plans for future stuff just leave up threads about xPortal and xShop, xPortal Free is about to get released, xShop is almost done as well so I'll get those done first then worry about things later.

I've managed to start working on getting the navigation fixed up and moving the login bar but having issues with getting that how I want. I'll get it done after some sleep.

Thanks again Shelley, I did as you suggested so if you would take a second look and give me a second opinion with changes I would appreciate it.
I find your login/signup hard to read.

I removed the background and made it how I want it, the boxes now have a white background and black font. So check it out to make sure it shows fine on your end DD.

I updated things. Not sure how I can go about making recent activity page look better or a bit closer.

The area I mentioned is a tiny improvement but it still looks messy, inconsistent and tbh it's very sloppy considering your talent with coding below is a quick example i did. Literally 2 minutes work that can be thrown in the extra.css template.

This just doesn't apply to the memberlist area but other area like this which I think you should spend a little time revamping.

Thanks, I will definitely revisit that area tonight and see what I can do to give some life. And thank you for the compliment on coding, appreciate that.
