yeah, Farcebook and WhatsApp are definitely much much safer.....

Well, I don't use WhatsApp and I don't use FB for anything even remotely important.

Thing about WhatsApp and FB is that they're not trumpeting how wonderful and secure they are, while Telegram is talking up how secure they are - but an examination of their security suggests it's not so secure.

They're breaking one of *the* cardinal rules - don't roll your own crypto.
