XF 2.0 Oops! We ran into some problems v2.01

fresh install 2.01

I am getting security errors when changing node permission,
if I change anything in the admin portal the oops pops up.

what should I check

Is this consistent on any page/form you submit?

If so, that would seem to imply that either some amount of cookies are not being passed through to the server (or your browser is rejecting them in certain cases) or something is manipulating the request so we can't verify that it's a legitimate request.

I would try another browser as an initial test.

I cleared my broswer cache and problem went away.

is there anyway to make the media add on show up on index page
