Logout redirect to "Oops! We ran into some problems."

Hello,

Today I found that the logout is slow and redirecting eventually to "Oops! We ran into some problems."
Cookies are required to use this site. You must accept them to continue using the site.

I have tested the logout on my personal website and here as well.

This is first time I notice it when I upgraded to xf.2.3.7

Note that the using of cookies already accepted.

Tested on IOS 18.5 Safari & Google Chrome.

It's not a bug in XenForo.

What we are doing is telling the browsers that, upon logout, any cached data related to XenForo should be cleared from its memory.

This is important because, without it, logging out of a shared computer would enable someone else to come along and potentially navigate through your browsing history and access pages that may contain sensitive information such as authentication details, contact details or direct messages and private forums, which may also contain sensitive information in their own right.

Why this seemingly takes so long on some browsers is really...

Yes, that is supposed to be the reason. In any case, I don't think the solution is entirely satisfactory.

Did further tests from Desktop (Windows 11);

- Firefox latest version 141.0, No issue in logout.

- Chrome latest version 138.0.7204, No issue as well in logout

It seems the issue is with the mobile devices.

I run Firefox on Android 13 and can't replicate so it has to be more complex than just "mobile browsers".

Could it be just on iOS or something like that?
