Only one bug left and today is Tuesday...Uh oh! You know whatthat means!

That would be for something like 1.2 because of how much needs to be done, not something for a maintenance release.

It's still a bug.
Most of the future fixes are for more like changes or implementing things in a better way rather than actual bugs/errors where things are broken, aren't they?

XFL has classified it as a bug... Otherwise it'd be a suggestion.

Things like "upgrade jquery" aren't bugs per se. They are things that can be improved to make the current features work better, as opposed to suggestions for new features.

I believe the point of this thread, however, is the pending release of 1.1.4, minus what would be the more difficult bugs/optimizations that would be fit for 1.2.

So when it comes to 1.1.4's release, there is only a few bugs left.

If it were up to me, I'd wait a week before releasing just to drive those who are checking for the download over the edge. :D
I'd also release it on a Wednesday just to confuse everyone who eagerly awaits Tuesday to check for a new release...

I have a feeling 1.1.4 will be next Tuesday.. An extra push that day for people expired yet to renew.. 1.1.4 + RM all in one day..

Or more likely, hold it until the RM is released so that any last minute bugs or RM-related changes can be carried over. ;)

it doesn't always have to be a tuesday.... :cautious:

Do we know what type of additional functionality will be added to Xenforo in the next release? Do the bugs give us any clues?

It's a third point release so other than bug fixes, what has been posted in the HYS forum and the implemented features, there is no major new functionality.

Here's a rough list of the main ones:
  • When spam cleaning, any associated reports are automatically marked as resolved
  • No white page when upgrading and rebuilding caches
  • Registration timer
  • Unique registration key
  • Integration with DNSBLs
  • Users awaiting approval counter in moderator bar
  • Windows Live profile field removed for new installations
  • Admin edit link on profile
  • Autoloader updated to support namespaces
  • itemCount support for custom tabs
  • Unique IDs for nav tabs
  • Registration date and last activity time shown (read-only) on the ACP user edit page
  • New common search for 'Awaiting email confirmation' in ACP
  • Javascript XenForo.FieldAdder method - trigger after the element is cloned so input field data can be changed
