XF 2.1 Only able to post in Category after a number of posts elsewhere?

Hi all,

Yes this is a really basic one, however i cant find how to set it up for looking!!

I want to set a specific Node/Category to only allow users to post after they have made a number of posts on the rest of the board.

Where may i set this please, or if not possible is there any add-on that would allow this please?

Disable posting in that category for the Registered user group.

Enable it for a different user group which members are promoted to after x posts.

Ok - just to follow this up....

Created a new usergroup called "Member" and set all permissions.
Created a user promotion as follows :





However, i still have users (500+) in the "Registered" Usergroup with more than 15 posts....

Any thoughts??

Just to update... the users that i have still outstanding are members of the "Registered" usergroup, however with no secondary user groups....

You might have to select "registered" as secondary user group. The primary user group should always be registered. Cause the secondary user group is the one that actually controls the user promotion. I haven't played around with user promotions in a while to test them out. I have one setup on our forum and it worked but haven't really looked into it.

Promotions only run on a cron. So either run it manually or check again?
