XF 1.5 Only be able to post threads after x posts?

Huge influx of users signed up on my forum and have been constantly making spam threads and I was wondering if theres something we can do to prevent thread creating and allow it after x posts

Use a user group promotion with the post new thread permission.

That's not a very good solution.

The best is a good Question & Answer, but it only works well if your forum is about a specific topic.

There is an add on out there that handles this specifically. We actually use it and it works very well, from a seasoned and well respected author as well. It's also free

If you have a user you want to make an exception for, you can disable this limitation in permissions(I've had to do that twice, so I know it's working well!) Good luck @LAYSUS
