Number of Participants in the Message Group

I have a message group consisting of 100 users on my forum site. In this group, certain members chat in the group.

There are 3 main problems here

1. ERROR: When someone leaves the group, the total number of participants in the group does not decrease, it remains the same. For example, in my group of 100 people, I remove a member from the group to add the 101st person. However, when I remove someone from the group, the number does not decrease to 99. Therefore, I constantly have to increase the quota.

2. ERROR: If a member leaves the group and changes their mind and wants to rejoin the group, this is not possible in any way. When the person who leaves the group applies to rejoin the group, I cannot accept them into the message group.

3. ERROR: You can invite a member to a conversation, but you cannot remove a member from the conversation. Why is this authority not available in a group conversation?

What is a message group?
XF doesn't have that.

Only participants can choose to leave DMs themselves.

There is a feature to add participants to the chat. We created a special group using this feature. We created a more social discussion environment in this group.

How are you adding a group though?

Only individual members can be added.

I add by clicking the "Invite more" button. Since I share private information in the group, everyone wants to join the group. However, since there are not enough features, I cannot use the group feature efficiently.

Direct Messages (previously called Conversations) aren't meant for 100 people.

Its just like texting on a cell phone. More than 15 people is a gong show.

I reckon that's because DM's are not meant to be used in the way that you do.

I'm hoping these QoL improvements are added to XF 2.4, but here is the suggestion if you want to upvote:

When a participant leaves a conversation, his user name still appears to the other participants in the list. Is this a bug or is it as designed? I think the latter but wanted to be sure.

The suggestion is, I have conversations where I need to remove certain users I included when starting it. For example advertisers that stop advertising should no longer have access to a private conversation they once were a participant of.

I'm hoping when the above suggestion is implemented, there's a better way to handle this to make it possible out of the box.
