The only metric in which the number of years you've been running a forum matter is hair loss, stress levels and the number of mental breakdowns you've had.
Otherwise it comes down to the success of your site(s), or the skills you have that back up running your sites. And success on running your site can vary person to person; you can have a lot of daily activity with a small userbase, you could have a big board, you could have a community that makes a large amount of money.
As far as knowing what you're doing... I cannot think of a single post by you that has actually been fully relevant to the discussion, or even individual replies. More often than not you just triple down on misinformation and act as if you're being bullied, while doing exactly what you cry about to others.
