As designed ! not parased in the url

In my post (https://xenforo.com/community/threads/custom-services.91872/) I have tried to make sure that the Start conversation with me link is working fine but it is not parsed for some reason. For example

https://xenforo.com/community/conversations/add?to=batpool52!

doesn't work even if I add a ! manually inside the url tag.

You'd have to use the encoded value %21, so https://xenforo.com/community/conversations/add?to=batpool52!

! is parsed unless its on the end. For example a hash-bang works https://xenforo.com/page?query#!state

As noted, this is expected. When regular punctuation is used at the end of a URL, it's ambiguous. It generally isn't part of the URL, so we don't include it. You can always adjust the link manually to ensure it is linked properly.
