I'm not able to successfully upload any files in my forum posts.
This is what I get (it's stuck at 100% and no further action is taken).

Like I uploaded this file here, I'm just not able to do it on my forum.

I read about the File Permissions for the internal_data folder, but that hasn't yielded any results.

If you disable the Flash uploader, can you do the upload successfully?

When the upload gets to 100% with the Flash uploader and seemingly hangs, it's often something like mod_security (though I've heard reports of reverse proxies like CloudFlare interfering as well).

Haven't tried that yet, Mike. Where exactly do I disable the Flash Uploader.

Also, if I can insist on using the Flash Uploader, do you see any fix for the same?

Secondly (let me know if I should start another thread for this!) -

How do I display names instead of usernames in the forum (just like here on this forum, it displays name...but my forum displays usernames which obviously look ugly).

You can disable the Flash uploader in your user preferences (or in the board options).

Ideally, we need to figure out what the error is. You may need to check your web server error logs for more details. If it's mod_security, you may be able to disable it by editing the .htaccess file (there's some code to enable in it) or by contacting your host.

As for the names, there are only usernames. You just signed up using your real name as your username.
