The cv6 add-ons gave me about 40 different template errors immediately after installation with the default XenForo style, so please forgive me for not trying to troubleshoot it too thoroughly.
In any case, cv6 requires the cv6 "core" framework installation that introduces new JavaScript functions, which is an overkill compared to this very light add-on if all you need is node icons.
Before the Node Icon add-on came out, I replaced icons manually via CSS and it worked pretty well, other than being a little tedious. I will look at this add-on code tonight to see if maybe there is a quick fix for 2.2.13.
