And if they have conflicts that you want to fix those?

Also how do the categories work? can you set witch forums are allowed to set a group forum for? so category one has 5 forums they can pick from and category 2 has 5 other forums they can pick from?
would love to see an image of the category settings if there are any.

I used almost default XenForo threads. So other addons which apply on threads still work fine on my addon.

If have any bugs. I will fix ASAP.

I can explain again. If a category have 5 forums, so all groups belong to this category can choose forums to use

Heya - just purchased this and love what it brings but I am unclear if something is possible.

I created a category named 'Guild' and for threads I put Guild Recruitment and the private Guild Forums, these all showed and only private guild forums showed under 'Discussions' if you had access to them which is fine.

The issue is when created a thread under your plugin it posts into the private guild forum but if you make a post in the private guild forum it does not show up on your plugin. Another issue with that is all current posts in the private area do not show up either, only the ones I recently added to test under your plugin.

Is there any way around this else it makes discussions pretty pointless unless its a brand new group with no posts.

Have you look around this permission: Bypass maximum of create groups

No. The group admin not become to forum Moderator.

I have a current private forum and want to show all the posts into your plugin but it does not do this, if I make a new post inside of your plugin it adds the post there. Does this mean to fully do what I want it to do the plugin needs to be fresh with no posts when making a clan?

I have disabled the gallery via your options but still receive this anytime someone tries to upload, any way to resolve it?

No need fresh forum. The forum should be viewable by anyone. Im unsure that Private forum can work with group.

You did not use XenMedia? What is action you do then get the error?

I do not use any media/gallery plugin and have set it to 'disable' but whenever someone tries uploading a cover or logo with the wrong size image it spams my server log with that error - can you stop it from doing this?

It does work with private forums HOWEVER, if I make a new thread in the private forum via your plugin it will add it to the private forum and any replies will show on the clan discussion bit. If I make a post in the private forum it does not show that thread on your plugin, that is my issue.

The only way around it I can see is that the private section needs to be blank and any posts made inside of your plugin will show there and I would have to disable the node showing on the forum (but this may disable it showing in your plugin also).

Bug: Another bug is that if a group is already made in your plugin and I assign the threads to it afterwards and run the cron rebuilds it does NOT show those nodes in your plugin under discussions.

No it is not issues. To show the thread on group you must make thread under group section.
Because a single Forum can have many groups associate in. So you dont want make a thread which display to all groups.

Of course. Because regular users can not viewable. It must more job to do yet.

Does the forums in group is valid on Category which group belong in? If not. So when running rebuild caches. It will remove invalid nodes.

I'll try and explain it better, thanks for being patient though!

1. Prior to installing your plugin I had a private guild forum underneath a category, it was hidden unless you were in a specific group to view it.

2. I installed your plugin and created a category which showed an open forum and a private forum. These both show underneath your plugin on the newly made group.

3. If I make a post in the forum index private thread it does not show in your plugin. If I make a post in your plugin inside of the private guild forum it shows on the forum index and your plugin. Is there a way to get the thread post via forum index to show inside of your plugin like it shows if I do the thread inside your plugin.

4. Bug - I modify the category to show a forum but if there is already an establishing clan it does not show the category/forum under their discussion even if I run the rebuild.

I hope that makes sense?

Look like the script to make Hash File did not work as expected. I will look into that.

And as I said, linking a forum there when it already has posts makes this a completely pointless feature if you cannot see the other threads already there - why would anyone want to post under your plugin and be unable to see the previous posts, it makes it pointless showing your forum in that location (unless its a brand new forum so every future thread shows).

It works as a great feature if its a clean forum but posts that are already in that forum since you moved the forum to show there should show up but they do not, I have read back through these posts and there is a lot of support for this.

So - In order to have a private forum. I can make a new forum in ACP set it not to show on the node tree and give a group access to it, then add that to show under your plugin and do this for all Guild with a private forum.

In doing the above, as long as you make a clean forum and hide it and the group is set to 'closed' it will work the way I want it and group admins can add/remove people so they can see the posts, no one else?
