XF 2.1 No matching users were found

A spammer signs up and makes one post.
In the hovercard I select Spam.
I check all the actions except delete posts.
It does ban the user but the next window says "No matching users were found."
I refresh the page though, and user is banned (strikethrough).

That’s the “Check spammer’s IP’s” action - it’s telling you that there are no other users with the same IP address.

Thank you for the clarification. Since it is checked by default I just leave it. I wonder if they are all unchecked if that is better so we select what we want. Anyway thanks,

You can set the defaults in the spam cleaner options in the Admin CP.
