XF 2.2 No link previews

we have no link previews, when we paste a forum link, for example in WhatsApp. Any idea, is there any switch anywhere?

Have you enabled unfurling?

I activated unfurl, but for example in WhatsApp, there is no effect, only the pure link.

Can you post an example here?

URLs will only unfurl if they have the relevant data and permissions (and are posted on a new line).

For example, this is from a demo forum which is restricted to guests, so it won't unfurl.

Oh wait, are you talking about pasting a URL into WhatsApp?

Again, it works if the URL is publicly visible and has the relevant content.



WhatsApp can be a bit flaky.
Sometimes you have to paste the URL and wait a few seconds for it to unfurl.
