Newsfeeder, limit the amount it pulls

Can I my self set a limit via ACP how many "cases" I want to pull via the newsfeeder?
Or will it just pull all when the cron runs everytime?

E.g a rss feed importer from another site, and limit that to 3 cases each day if possible.

There are no configurable options related to that.

You can set the fetch frequency to 12 hours, which would limit the number of entries being pulled, and you can have them sent to the moderation queue, from where you could approve or delete them.

Would it be possible to control the newsfeeder with such an option in the future? or is that something I would need to discuss in the "suggestion" thread for XF?
