New to Xenforo development learning.

Hi. I am new to Xenforo development.

I have recently started using Xenforo as Admin/Developer and I have read the developer docs and created an Demo - Portal addon which was demonstrated in "Let's build an addon" page.
I kinda understand how xenforo is structured but I don't know what functions should i be using under certain situations. I just copied the code that was written in the article.

For example, If I want to apply pagination on my featured threads, how am i supposed to know which function I should be using, aside from copy pasting the code from Let's build an addon article.

I just want to ask, what is the best way to learn xenforo. And where should i post discussions like these about development queries in the future.
