Maybe there should be an option for "What's New" ... restrict it to New threads only.

You could click what's new? and then have an option: New Threads only. (near All recent messages).

Yup, use Widget Framework then we have New Threads widget.

Something like this already exists.

Just install that, watch all the forums on your site, and bam, you get an alert (and email if you choose) whenever someone makes a new thread. You can also use it for a new post on a specific thread if you'd like.

Hi yes i've seen this add-on before but thanks for bringing it up to try and support me. My only issue is that I want it designed like the picture I provided.. so new threads have there own alert.. then normal alerts will remain the same and i know they are just for me.
