XFCom new thread alerts not watching users or nodes?

I've had new thread alerts from @mjda and @Old Nick however I'm not following the nodes they're posted in, nor am I following the users.

Before I go bug report am I being stupid somewhere?

Anything @Paul B ?

I know why ! Both threads were moved and I assume they were originally in nodes you follow, mine for example was in https://xenforo.com/community/forums/other-xenforo-discussions-and-feedback.45/

Where from? The only nodes I'm watching to the best of my knowledge are announcements and HYS. Unless you've got a secret I don't think they were from there??

Ahhh they were split off from threads I'm watching.

Would be nice if the notification specified it was a split from a different thread instead of phrasing it like a new thread.
