XF 2.1 New Forum in New Category can't be found

I created a new category and forums to post different video lengths and after moving some posts to the new forums I am getting this error:
Oops! We ran into some problems.

The requested page could not be found.

Can you post some URLs for the forum, category, posts, etc?

This is the forum. https://www.studentfilmmakers.com/forums/ and the top video showcase is a new category. I have about 700 videos to move to those sections and after moving a few I checked and I could not go to them.

Do you have any custom route filters set, or any rewrite rules in .htaccess?

not that I know of. where or how do I check? I am running WordPress in the root directory.

I found a solution. I changed the URL portion and it's working. I only used words and dashes. Not sure why it won't work like that but with no dashes in the URL portion its working.

Dash is a supported character.

If entered, the URL to this forum will not contain an ID. Use a-z, 0-9, _, and - characters only. Note that once specified, changing this value will cause URLs to be broken.

Did you use a standard dash - or something different?

not sure but I don't want to go back and break it now. I have to move 700 plus videos to the right categories! Thank you for your support. It means a lot to get quick responses.
