Mysqli prepare error

Recently upgraded phpMyAdmin, one of my test forums is now showing this error:

An unexpected database error occurred. Please try again later.
<!-- Mysqli prepare error: Incorrect information in file: './****/xf_data_registry.frm' -->

The other one is fine. Not sure what happened, the one with this error has an imported vB database.

There are a lot of potential issues with this, but it either represent corruption or a misconfiguration on the MySQL server. Example thread about this on the MySQL forums: http://forums.mysql.com/read.php?22,106192,106192#msg-106192

Some of the messages there (regarding configuration) implies that it should be happening to all forums, so it could be a corruption issue. Google has all sorts of different causes for this issue though, so it's hard to say.
