My Site is Down, need help.

I was working on my site last night & updated several addons. Next thing I knew, the server crashed & I had to reboot. I was also having very high traffic. After the reboot I disabled the new addons & thought it was ok. Today my site doesn't display at all. It's just a white page.

I can FTP in. Apache is running because I can load images & html pages. it's just the xen scripts.

I added this to my config file to try and disable all addons. but it did nothing.

$config['enableListeners'] = false;

any suggestions? I need to at least get some pages to load to get any idea of what is wrong.

What's actually happening on the back end? Is the server managed by the hosting company? What are the load averages? After you restarted the server, was it pretty quiet, or did everything spike again?
