Hello,
We have a support forum, and there we actually have 3 languages.
However, in a way it doesn't work the way we want it to.
Now the question is:
Is it possible to connect 3 boards together, but each in a different language.
Posts & Topics don't need to be connected, but the users do.
So the 3 boards then work with 1 user database. A user could therefore theoretically log in with the same data on every board.
We also installed a plugin from aMember.
Everyone who registers with us is automatically registered on the forum.
This is what it should look like:
1 front page where you can choose which language you want to use.
If you click on the language, you will also be taken to the forum in that language and you can simply log in.
Reports should come in for admins & moderators on all boards, so you don't have to constantly check the different boards to see if there are messages.
Can this be made? Does anyone have experience with it?
(now there will be a lot of people who want to give pros and cons about a multilingual board, we've thought this through a lot and this is what we want.)
We hope someone can help us.
Yours sincerely,
Bob
