XF 1.4 Move users with invalid email to new usergroup

If I do a search of users with "Email Invalid (bounced)" it comes back with 211 results.

I want to find a quick and easy way to delete all these members. I was thinking, rightly or wrongly that I would be able to do this if I place them into a new usergroup?

I created a new usergroup called "No Email".

I created a promotion based on the following

Move user to new usergroup - No Email
Apply this promotion while - User state is Email Invalid (bounced)

I saved the promo and ran the cron. However when I search for members in this usergroup, it comes back blank.

Can anyone help shed some light on this please.

The promotion will only apply to recently active members.

You can apply it to all members by running 'Rebuild User Group Promotions' in Tools -> Rebuild Caches

If you just want to delete these users, use Batch Update Users to delete all users with Email Invalid (bounced).
