XF 1.4 Move poll to another thread

We have a poll with a few votes on.

A separate thread has started that would benefit in having the poll on that thread. Is is possible to combine the thread or move the poll over?

You can merge the threads - the poll will be retained in the resulting combined thread.

Which one will be dominant and keep it's url?

Select both threads either via the inline moderator checkboxes or the thread tools dropdown, then select merge threads.

You can select either thread as the target, which will be the resulting final merged thread URL, ID and title.

The merge option isn't available in the thread tools dropdown, only the ability to select the thread is.

The merge must be done using the moderator overlay which appears when you select the thread(s) using inline moderation, or by clicking the 'Selected Threads: 2' link.

Ok bit confused now. What is moderator overlay? I am looged in as the moderator looking at the thread on the front end.

Go to the thread list.

Select one of the thread checkboxes and the overlay will appear.
