XF 2.1 Move Action Bar Outside of Deleted Post?

So, I have some specific threads with a whole lot of soft deleted posts I want to hard delete. I've noticed that the Action Bar (with the checkbox/edit/delete/undelete options) is inside of the hidden post content, so I have to open up each one to get to the action bar.

Is there a way to move the action bar outside of the post content?

I want it visible in this view:

Yeah, I did see that one. I asked in the add-on discussion thread if that includes functionality to allow you to delete posts in only a specific thread, since I don't want to clear out the entire forum. Just waiting for a reply to that question.

But I'm still looking for a way to move the action bar outside of the deleted post content.

This is the interface in the latest version. I think what is needed is a checkbox for selecting only the ones you want to delete - something to suggest to @AndyB
