Okay, I know you love your own boards the most. Let's compile a list of the most beautiful boards in the world through nominations.

You may nominate your own board and one more board that does not belong to you. I'll set the ball rolling -

    Our XF Board: CrazyEngineers Community

The XF Board I like: CycleChat.Net.
What I like about CycleChat.Net - Amazing use of colors, icons and advertisements :)

Sorry... But I wouldn't consider either of those sites beautiful. They're basically just the default template with minor changes (Mostly color), and nothing outstanding about them.

I'd probably choose http://slruser.com for the minimalism and how well he's incorporated everything into his site so far (Not beautiful, but more that it's unique and impressive).

http://bbsmiley.com Shelley has done a few impressive styles I'd consider beautiful (I like her current one).

Yes, I really like the designs for those two forums, Forsaken.

I am compelled to add Pentax Forums. :notworthy:

That site is not running XenForo.

But simple color changes can make a site more beautiful.

By the way, we are discussing the sites that look beautiful and beauty is in the eyes of beholder. Even the site that uses default template (xenforo.com) would be eligible. srlusr website still uses 'stripped' down version of XenForo.

Heck yeah! I had to re-do my main page after looking at it.

    What do you think? http://www.the8thlegion.com/

It highly distracts me. You could keep them if you could find a way for the actual stuff on the page to stand out more from the background image.

Yesh it does not allow me to keep my eye on the actual site. In my long experience of administration of sites for years the worst thing you can do is any thing that draws the eye from the site and I should know because I have the attention span of a gold fish.

I like the way you did the forums. It's cleaner and much easier on the eyes and does not take your attention from something else I recommend you make your main page like the forums and then work on it from there.

K I changed it to stripes pattern. Take a look again. Is that also distracting?

I sometimes suck at this web design stuff because my tastes can be pretty wild sometimes. My members complain a lot so they try to keep me in check.

Much better. They don't distract me as much and look nice. I posted some comments in your profile :D
