Sorry if this was covered elsewhere and I missed it, but are all the fake member profile's set to private by default? Just thinking it might be a little suspicious having a bunch of new names pop up and they all show zero posts in their profiles.

I wouldn't even be considering this except for the fact that Xenforo will only update user's online who have been active in the last hour and I can't find a way to get around it. ;)

Yeah, see my post above. People like to see an active forum, it encourages participation, I think. But not all of us are lucky enough to have hundreds of people active by the hour, so this is one way for some of us to get around a limitation of Xenforo, since Xenforo is not allowing us to do something which can be done on most forum platforms.

This add-on does not do any postings at this moment in time but that will be added in the future at this moment in time it will only make it look like a lot of people are online but it is very affective because it helps out your SEO and more people do find your forum

Hi. I wasn't actually looking for it to post for me, just wondering if the fake members would have their privacy settings automatically set so that other members could not view their details on their profiles. That way regular members would just get a permissions error if they tried to look at the profile, saying the member had chosen not to share that info.

At the moment they can but that is another thing to put on a future update
 
Sorry can you describe how the settings work a little more in depth. I thought I had things configured right but had wayyy too many guests showing up. I can also see the cron runs every 5 min. So is the fake stats added every 5 min then reset again every 60 min (User Status Timeout)?

For example if I had 5 guests configured, then it would add 5 guests [Fake Online Guest Value] active every 5 minuets [Cron Run Value] then reset after 60 mins [User Status Timeout Value], and repeat? So I would then actually have about 60 guests?

No it would be 5 guests then for how ever long you make the time limit if you do not change the time limit then it would be 60 mins then they will go away

Please enter a valid callback method (ModernTank_FakeUserOnline_CronEntry_FakeUserOnline::updateSessionActivityFake).
i got that when trying to install on xenforo 1.2.0
 
Just baught it, could it be that it remotly slows down the site or is that my imagination?
The viewing unknown page is frustrating. For the rest it seems ok.
How do we update this plugin? I onlu received a mail with my purchase?
