XF 2.1 Moderators can access the spam clean

Hello,

I've set it in the moderators user group that they can't use the spam clean function and haven't ticked it when adding them as a moderator but they can still see it.

Is there somewhere else I should be setting it?

May I ask why you don't want moderators to ban spammers? Unless you have an addon or theme causing the issue, the no permission for the spam cleaner should not let them see it. However, you need to check user groups and user group permissions. Spam cleaner setting in both.

Are they not the same? I change the setting in one place and it's reflected in the other. Spam clean is set to never there



and for the moderators nothing is ticked to just inherit the group permissions



but still they can use the spam cleaner

I just want banning people to be an admin only function

"Use the spam cleaner" is set to Never, but moderators still have option to use spam cleaner.

Analyze permissions show: Use the spam cleaner: No.

I reported this in March and today it's fixed very quickly when someone else reports it
