XF 2.0 Mod navigation items do not behave like XF tabs

I must have done something wrong my some of mods. When I click on the tab I created the arrow does not go away. All the sublinks appear below like they should, but the down arrow remains.

Thoughts?

Sounds a bit more like a template/CSS modification to me, but showing screenshots should help. That said, we're very likely to need to see the issue directly.

I disabled my template modifications, and have not edit the template directly.
Here is an example. This page is under the "Recruiting" section, but the arrow remains.
