Migrating md5 passwords to xenForo

Quick question: We'd like to move over an old custom user database that's using md5 over to xenForo. Any tips would be appreciated.

Joomla using kunena forum. Basically just the forum along with users and working passwords.

The Joomla system does users, but not passwords. I may be able to get passwords working, but I need to know how the passwords are stored.

There is no kunena system in ImpEx. But I can probably do the forums, threads, and posts manually. It all depends on the source data though.

I kunena was fireboard. I changed a everything named fireboard to kunena and the impex converter worked but it didn't mirgrate attachments. I also changed some things in the joomla files and got the users imported.

How do I find out how passwords are stored?

Send me a PM with a copy of some of your user records, or access to your source database. I can probably know the password scheme by looking at the data.
