merge databases

I currently have a database with 1-3k users that I want to transfer to xenforo users. In the old database is for each user a username, password (hash) and group. But the password is now hashed. How can I merge the data beacons?

Without any information on what type of database we're talking about here, it'll be near impossible to give you actual advice.

If it's a custom database, you'll have to follow the same route that official importers do, and provide a hashing handler for passwords that match your hashing algorithm.

There is a username and a sha512 hashed password in the database.
