"Media Gallery Embed" function breaks threads if gallery restricted

Hi,

Just wondering if there is a way around this. I have my gallery restricted to subscribers. I noticed if someone embeds a gallery image in a thread, if a non-subscriber enters that thread they get an error box saying they do not have permissions. I can't seem to find any options for this other than removing that icon from the tool bar (in which case where do I do that). Thanks!

ok, i think what is happening is some members are using an img tag to link to a full size media gallery image. They then get the error when that image tries to load. I do have a mod installed that allows everyone to view thumbnails but only subscribers can view full images. So in a way it's working by design, I probably need some way to prevent forum members from img tagging a media gallery image. Is there a hot linking option to disable hot linking? hmm
