As designed Media embedding with a link to the content site doesn't work as expected

If we have set Auto-embed media links to Auto-embed media, and add a link to the content within this BB code & paste link of media site directly on editor, it shows media site link below media but if we paste it through editor Media option it doesn't show the link to media site, only embeds the media.

My ACP setting looks something like this:

That's expected.

The "Auto-embed" part is where you paste just a link into a message and it automatically embeds it. This is handled by the auto link system.

If you choose to insert it manually, then it just literally adds the [MEDIA tag and none of the other stuff.
