We have a username ۩۞۩~*Y.a.H.e.L*~۩۞۩ and as a result we see @۩۞۩[S][I]Y.a.H.e.L[/I][/S]۩۞۩. Due to markdown character ~. <--=n†ka=--> parsed <--=[S]n†ka[/S]=-->

Thank you for reporting this issue. It has now been resolved and we are aiming to include it in a future XF release (2.1.1).

Change log:

Parse user mentions before MD parsing to avoid issues with user names that have valid MD-style markup.

Any changes made as a result of this issue being resolved may not be rolled out here until later.
