XF 1.2 mandatory userfields do not show up during registration

Hi

I have setup a few userfields, that new users have to fill out during registration. I just found out, that they do not show up during registration, although I checked that option for these fields in ACP.

In ACP I set it up so that those fields are mandatory during the registration and can not be edited afterwards.

What could be the reason for not showing up?

It sounds like you haven't chosen them to be editable at all? If so, that's the case -- they have to be editable once for the user to be able to set them.
