Managing Forums and Threads

I have imported forums and threads from phpBB. Now I would like to delete some forums and threads and add others. I can't find how to do this in the admin panel. What am I missing?

In general, threads are deleted from the front end using the inline moderator functions.
However, the batch update threads function in the ACP can be used to mass delete, if the threads are all in the same node, for example.

Nodes can be deleted via the Nodes menu in the ACP: admin.php?nodes/
