XF 2.1 make breadcrumb font bigger?

one of the most common complaints from my users after upgrading from 1.5 to 2 is the small size of the breadcrumb font at the top/bottom....however for the life of me I do not see how to customize this or make it larger?

this appears to have changed from xen 1.x and is now much smaller?

that seems to change the font sizes for everything on the site...vs just the breadcrumbs?

Add to extra.less template

.p-breadcrumbs>li a
{
        font-size: 15px;
}

I would like to increase font size of breadcrumbs in xfmg 2.2.
How can I do that?

I tried the above addition to extra.less but it made no difference.
Any clues please?
